Description: Sagano (嵯峨野) is a premium matcha from Uji, Kyoto — Japan's most storied tea region. Blended from Saemidori, Okumidori, and Yabukita cultivars, it combines a vibrant green color with light, well-balanced bitterness. What sets Sagano apart is how its matcha flavor holds up in milk: even in a large latte, the tea character stays present and defined. For specialty cafés that want their matcha to be tasted, not just seen, Sagano is an excellent choice. Origin: Uji, Kyoto | Grade: Premium Ceremonial | Cultivar: Saemidori, Okumidori, Yabukita | Harvest: Blend (1st–2nd Harvest) | Supply: ~1 ton/month Recommended for matcha lattes. Available as a 30g sample and in 1kg wholesale bags.
