About The Farm Section
'Our USDA Certified Organic, single-origin matcha is sourced from Hattori Tea Farm, a sustainable, fourth-generation family farm in the Shizuoka Prefecture of Japan. Matcha grows through the winter and is traditionally shaded for the final 3–4 weeks before harvest. Innovatively, this farm uses solar panels to provide the necessary shade while generating renewable energy for nearby communities. True to the organic principles it has followed for generations, the tea is cultivated without synthetic pesticides and fertilized exclusively with organic materials, including compost sourced from the local community, creating a closed-loop system that supports both soil health and sustainability. After harvest, the leaves are carefully processed and stone-ground to order in small batches, preserving freshness, flavor, and nutrients all the way to your cup.'

Research notes

This page carries a distinct 'organic' contradiction not present on the Kiwami page: the top badge row and the introductory marketing paragraph never claim USDA Organic certification (they say only 'pesticide-free' and 'fertilized with organic materials'), yet the separate 'About the Farm' section below explicitly opens with 'Our USDA Certified Organic, single-origin matcha...' This directly asserts a certification that the page's own primary badge/description area omits.
