- With our own innovative technology, the caffeine is extracted naturally using only fresh water. The tea leaves are then freeze-dried and ground by stone mills. Containing 80% less caffeine than regular Matcha blends, this low-caffeine Matcha has been specially developed for pregnant women, nursing mothers, and people who want to avoid caffeine. More than 90% of the theanine, amino acids, and epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG) contained in the catechins remain, which helps regulate blood pressure and prevent cancer.

Research notes
By far the most detailed non-award product description found - includes explicit health/production claims rather than just a taste profile. This is a distinct SKU from the regular Principal/Tea-School matchas, sitting in the 'Limited Edition Teas' category.
